Yes ... I have a fixation with frogs -- well TOADS!
To my wife's dismay, I collect them, put them in our yard -- and occasionally
-- photograph them.
I love frogs and toads!
But my toads/frogs are ceramic, metal, plastic, granite, marble --
anything but toad flesh! My toads may croak and ribbit -- but not
due to vocal cords -- simply a battery. One of my toads even glows
in the dark. I even have a toad band.
To celebrate my love of toads/frogs, I've created this website devoted
to my artificial amphibian friends. This site is definitely a work
in progress -- but hopefully -- it will jump on the scene in the next
few weeks.
In addition to links to other "toad" (real and artificial)
sites, I will post my own artwork related to toads/frogs.
There is a flash video of my first book of photographs devoted to
my toad/frog friends. If you like what you see in the flash video,
a "real book" of the same photos -- but in a much higher
visual quality with additional visual effects -- will be available
for purchase -- but not anytime soon.
Eventually there will be a "toad calendar" you can view
and download. And maybe more stuff -- FREE!
